Buddhist Meditation Group

(14 February 2020)

The new Durham University Buddhist Meditation Group will meet on Thursdays starting on 27th February, 5-6pm, in the Quiet Space on the first floor of the Teaching and Learning Centre. Anyone who practises any form of Buddhist meditation (or would like to) is very welcome to come along.

This is will simply be a regular time for those around the university who have a Buddhist meditation practice to meet and sit together for an hour (in fact we’ll probably do 2 sessions of 20-25 minutes each, with a few minutes for stretching in between). There's no need to book or sign up; it’s on a purely drop-in basis. The meetings won't regularly involve any instruction, but if you're new to Buddhist meditation and would like some basic pointers, please make sure you arrive by 5:00, and there'll be someone there who can help.
