Safety at UK Music Festivals
(23 January 2020)
Have you been to a UK music festival in the last five years? Receive a £20 high-street voucher for taking part in a 45-60 minute focus group, or anonymous telephone interview.
If you have attended a music festival in the UK in the last five years, we would love to speak to you anonymously about your perceptions of safety, including any concerns you may have, and how prevention or responses can be improved.
Researchers at Durham University & University of Liverpool are examining the extent, nature and responses to sexual harassment and assault at UK music festivals, with the goal of improving our understandings and developing policies and practice in order to prevent these offences occurring. The study is funded by the British Academy.
We are looking for participants aged 18 and over who have attended a festival in the last five years to take part in a 45 to 60-minute focus group, no personal details including names or University will be included in the research. Refreshments will be available during the session. If you would prefer to take part in an individual telephone interview, please also get in touch.
