CCCO Concert: ‘A Shadow and a Dream’

(1 November 2019)

The Castle Chamber Choir and Orchestra welcome you to their annual Michaelmas concert, celebrating British music of the 19th and 20th centuries, from Parry to Vaughan Williams, in the Great Hall of the Castle on Remembrance Sunday 10 November, at 8 pm.

Performing well-known and obscure British choral and orchestral chamber music from the 19th and 20th centuries, including Elgar, Britten, Holst, Parry, and, most notably, Vaughan Williams’ ‘An Oxford Elegy’ and Walter Leigh’s rarely heard ‘Concertino for Harpsichord and Strings’, we’d be delighted to have you join us on Remembrance Sunday to celebrate the beautiful music of the nation.
