CoderDojo is a global movement providing children with the opportunity to learn coding and technology in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The sessions are always free and open to all. We provide computer coding activities in a fun and relaxed environment to young people aged between 7 and 17 who live in Durham City and the surrounding area.
You can find sessions and register here.
The sessions are held in three locations:
Bill Bryson Library on the 1st Saturday of each month, 2pm-4pm,
Clayport Library on the 3rd Saturday of each month, 10am-12pm,
Rivergreen Centre at Aykley Heads on the 4th Saturday of each month, 2pm-4pm.
If you're under 17 and would like some help with learning to code please register to come along. It's free for all participants. We will have some tasks for you to complete although if you have a project you have been working on and would like some help we are here for you too.
CoderDojo is about learning together, supporting each other and sharing your knowledge. Our mentors are here to help and challenge you. Come and have fun. Please bring a laptop and a charger if you have them but we do have access to the library computers.
Parents have to be present for children under 13.
