The Bill Bryson Library 24/7 Opening Hours
(9 April 2018)
The Bill Bryson Library has commenced Library 24/7 opening hours until 1 June 2018 at 10pm.
Library services will be in operation during staffed hours: from Monday to Thursday, 08:30–23:30; Friday, 08:30–21:30; Saturday, 09:00–21:30; Sunday, 09:00–23:30. Outside of these hours, the library will operate on a self-service basis.
Queen’s Campus Library will also start 24/7 opening starting on 21 April until 25 May 2018.
Remember, BEE BRIGHT and study responsibly!
Student welfare is a high priority for us. Just because the Library is open for you to use 24/7, it doesn’t mean you should study round the clock. Please take regular breaks, get enough sleep and travel home safely at night. Throughout Library 24/7, our Libraries are Campus Card Access only, in order to ensure the Library is a safe and secure space for you to study in.
We hope that the Library 24/7 opening hours will help to reduce students’ stress during the exam period in the final term as you can use your time wisely, pace yourself, and plan assignments and exam revision effectively to make your studies more enjoyable. Also, be sure to take care when leaving the Library late at night. Your health and wellbeing is a top priority!
