Environmental Fact of the Week: Christmas E-Card

Last year over 1,122 e-cards were sent in December 2018.

 

The average Carbon Footprint of sending one greeting card is 140g CO2e. By sending a Christmas e-card instead saves both the production and travel associated with sending paper cards.

German Ambassador to the UK Dr Peter Wittig visit

We are delighted that the German Ambassador to the UK, Peter Wittig, will visit Durham University on Tuesday 10 December. As part of his visit the Ambassador be sharing his perspectives on “The UK and Germany in a Changing Europe”. Staff and students are welcome between 4.15pm - 5pm on Tuesday 10 December in ER 142 (Elvet Riverside). Numbers are limited so please register to attend. For more information please email emma.moore@durham.ac.uk or claudia.nitschke@durham.ac.uk.

New Arriva Bus Service Timetables for 2020

Please note that new timetables will come into effect on Sunday 5 January 2020 for the Arriva 56, 56A, 57 and 57A bus services.

Printed timetables will be available from key receptions in the new year and access to all timetables is available on the
Arriva website or the Arriva app. To note there will be no change to the x12 bus timetable.
