Imagining Better Education Conference 2020

The third annual Imagining Better Education conference takes place from 9 - 10 July 2020. It is free and open to all with an interest in education across the University. Keynotes from Prof Vikki Boliver and Prof Christos Tsinopoulos and academic and researcher development workshops will feature along with a range of student presentations. We look forward to a great conference and hopefully seeing staff and students there!

Inclusive Football Festival

Durham County Football Association and Durham Pride are delighted to announce an inclusive football festival to celebrate the LGBT+ community in Durham ahead of the 2020 Durham Pride Parade. The tournament will be hosted on Saturday 23 May 2020 from 10.00am - 2.00pm on the 3G pitches at The Graham Sports Centre, Maiden Castle.

The Fifth Annual Early Career Researcher (ECR) Conference Hosted by The Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing 17 June 2020

Call for abstracts now open 

While many people differ on what constitutes ‘the good life’, it is generally agreed that health and a general feeling of wellbeing are paramount. With this said the ways in which health and wellbeing can be maintained and improved are varied. At the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing we are interested in gathering mathematicians, scientists, anthropologists, medical professionals, theologians, historians, linguists, sociologists and all researchers interested in the applications of their research to any topic regarding health and general wellbeing.
