Leadership In Commercial Negotiation

Call for applications: Joint Uppsala-Durham Seedcorn Fund

Building on their collaborations through the Matariki Network of Universities, Durham and Uppsala Universities wish to strengthen their bilateral ties and have developed a joint seedcorn fund to source and support joint research. Through a competitive process, Durham and Uppsala Universities will jointly advertise, select and fund research projects to the value of €10,000- €25,000.

For Better Or Worse: AI And Society Panel Debate

Durham University, on behalf of the NINE DTP has organised a panel and networking event to discuss 'For better or worse: AI and society' at PROTO: The Emerging Technology Centre, Gateshead on Tuesday 23 April.

We'll be talking about the role of artificial intelligence in society and how social science research contributes to the development of AI. The event will provide a platform for audience members to ask our panel members key questions and to expand and develop their network.

The North’s Biggest Book Fair

Bigger and better than ever, the Durham Palestine Educational Trust’s Easter Book Fair runs from Saturday 13 April to Monday 22 April in the Pemberton Rooms on Palace Green. Open 10.00am to 4.00pm each day. Admission is free and accompanied children are welcome. Good disabled access.
