Submissions for Josephine Butler Research Forum are now open. You can submit proposals and abstracts here until Sunday 31 March with the forum taking place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April.

The Geneva Challenge 2019: The Challenges Of Global Health

The Graduate Institute Geneva has announced the 2019 edition of the Geneva Challenge. 25’000 CHF in monetary prizes is available. The 2019 edition of the Geneva Challenge is a project funded by Swiss Ambassador Jenö Staehelin and was supported by the late Kofi Annan as the high-patron of the contest. The Geneva Challenge aims to encourage interdisciplinary problem solving analysis among master students on advancing human development within the scope of a relevant topic.

Registrations close on Sunday 24 March 2019. Submission due by Monday 15 July 2019.

Conference: New Song: Biblical Hebrew Poetry As Jewish And Christian Scripture For The 21st Century

This conference, to be held in Durham from Monday 24 - Tuesday 25 June 2019, will bring together leading scholars from around the world to explore the significance of the poetic medium in the ongoing interpretive engagement with Biblical Hebrew poetry as Scripture in today's world. The aim of the conference is to move beyond reconstructive historical work to constructive theological work. Registration is open here.
