Looking for somewhere to study?

The Bill Bryson Library is now open 24 hours a day until Friday 7 June. There are also spaces in other libraries, buildings, Departments and Colleges. For a full list, visit the Library website, where there is also a link to a Durham Students’ Union map.

A widget showing how many Library spaces are free is displayed at the Library entrance and on the Library website – so you can check before ever leaving home.

Roadworks taking place on South Road

To ensure the safety of students and staff who will be crossing into the new Teaching and Learning Centre when it opens in September, critical roadworks will be taking place on South Road from 13 May for a six week period. All work will take place between the hours of 7pm and 6am, Monday - Saturday. During this time vehicular traffic will be diverted. For further information, and a map of the diversion, please see the website.
