Italian course at St John's

(28 May 2021)

This intermediate level Italian language course runs online on Teams every Friday, 7pm-7.55pm, for six weeks starting Friday 4 June 2021. The teacher is a native Italian speaker, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with a PG-cert in Academic Practice and with years’ experience in teaching and the sessions will be highly interactive. All fees will be donated to support St John’s College and its activities during the pandemic.

is a beautiful language, the language of the cradle of the Western civilisation, and the most romantic of all the roman languages. It is a definite 'must learn' it if you are passionate about delicious food, history of art, music and even business – did you know that “Made in Italy” is the third most recognised brand in the world after Coca Cola and Visa? The course will be a great opportunity to practice Italian in a friendly and relaxed environment.

To sign up, send an email to clodomiro.cafolla@durham.ac.uk to register interest by Wednesday 2 June. Once your place has been confirmed, give your donation online within 2 days following the above link. Specify the correct sum, then in the message field, write “Italian” + your name. Add your email address in order to receive an online receipt. Once you have received your receipt, forward it to clodomiro.cafolla@durham.ac.uk. Please do not make any donations until your place has been confirmed.
