Training Needs Analysis for social science researchers
(9 April 2021)
We are inviting all social science researchers to complete a Training Needs Analysis survey to help us shape the future of the ESRC IAA training and development programme.
The Durham ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) runs a training and development scheme which aims to support Durham social science researchers in knowledge exchange (KE) activity, bridging the pathway to translating research in to impact.
The scheme is open to researchers at all career stages who wish to develop their impact and engagement work, and focuses on encouraging researchers to evolve their innovative and enterprising behaviour, to consider challenges that they are addressing and helping to realise the commercial, economic and societal impact of their research.
We have organised a number of training and development workshops, covering a wide-range of topics, such as Media Awareness (including Podcasting and Social Media); Writing for Lay Audiences; Research and Public Policy. However we realise that there is the potential for much more and we would like to hear from you about the training and development opportunities which you would like to see in a programme.
We value your opinion and are inviting all social science researchers to complete the following Training Needs Analysis to help us shape the future of the ESRC IAA training and development programme. The closing date for the survey is Monday 19 April 2021.
The survey is brief and should take approximately 5-6 minutes to complete – simply go to: https://forms.office.com/r/hkWPSBxSWt
