Aspect - a network for social science researchers
(19 March 2021)
Durham has recently joined Aspect, a network for organisations looking to make the most of commercial and business opportunities from social sciences research. Further information can be found on their website.
As a brief overview, Aspect is led by the London School of Economics and Political Science, alongside six other Founding Members; the Universities of Manchester and Sussex (the recipients of funding from Research England along with LSE), and the Universities of Oxford, Sheffield, Cardiff and Glasgow. The network was founded approximately 18 months ago and is supported by Research England’s Connecting Capability Fund (CCF).

The initial funding round is drawing to a close, however the next funding round is expected to start in July 2021 which will bring many new opportunities to engage with the network and other members.
We will aim to keep relevant staff informed of upcoming events and other opportunities available through the Aspect network, however if you want to ensure that you receive the latest news from the network please sign up to the newsletter here.
