Fairtrade Fortnight: Choose the World you want

(19 February 2021)

This month has been focused on Ethical Purchasing and Fairtrade for our Greenspace Calendar, ‘Fairtrade February’. Next week kickstarts the international campaign of Fairtrade Fortnight, and you can get involved and make a difference…

You can get involved by making conscious ethical consumer choices, support the Fairtrade Foundation, online event to learn more about ethical purchasing and climate change that have been organised by our Fairtrade University Network and the Fairtrade Foundation.

Marking the start of Fairtrade Fortnight, the Fairtrade Foundation is set to unveil its first-ever Choose the World You Want Festival, a series of virtual events designed to highlight how the climate crisis will affect the future of our food and those who produce it.

Post-Grad student, Ellie Blackburn writes about what you can do for this Fairtrade and ethical purchasing month. Interested? Head over to the student blogs page.
