St John's Café Scientifique talks offer the invaluable opportunity to have a friendly meet up with world leading scientists and hear from them about the latest scientific discovery. This term, St John's Café Scientifique is pleased to invite our community to a series of talks on Covid-19. Read on to find out more about our upcoming events.

Our next event is on Monday 1 March 2021 at 7pm.

Our speaker will be James H Naismith FRS FRSE FMedSci, Director of the Rosalind Franklin Institute and Professor at Jesus College, University of Oxford, UK.

Professor Naismith is a world leading expert on structural biology will deliver a talk on the current response to COVID-19 and the potential drawbacks of focusing only on shielding the most vulnerable as suggested by our previous speaker and by the Great Barrington Declaration.
