Bespoke online digital skills session for students

(19 February 2021)

Following the recent launch of the M365 My Digital Skills site for students that aims to help students improve their digital skills using Microsoft 365, we have announced a bespoke session for students on 5 March, delivered by Steve Crompton, MD of Changing Social and former Durham University student. As a Durham alumnus and now current employer, Steve will share what employers are looking for when they are hiring and show students how they can stand out from the crowd.

After graduating from John Snow College, Steve worked at Yammer that was later acquired by Microsoft. Steve has worked in various consulting roles and held senior positions at Microsoft before starting his own business, Changing Social.

This session for students will last for 1 hour and will discuss:

  • Being visible in a digital workplace
  • Managing your time
  • How to run effective meetings
  • Q&A
