Engaging students in online sessions webinar
(8 January 2021)
The events of the last few months have resulted in much teaching, training and student development activity relocating to online platforms such as Collaborate Ultra, MS Teams or Zoom. However, if the value-added from a session is based on practice-sharing, discussion, or critical thinking, encouraging ‘participation’ and ‘engagement’ is a trickier proposition. Attend our 90-minute webinar/workshop on 20 January at 2pm to find out more.
In this 90-minute webinar/workshop on 20 January 2pm we will focus on questions such as:
- How can we encourage participation?
- How can we promote engagement with a group who can easily switch off their cameras and microphones?
- Is it right to ‘force’ engagement, or should students be able to simply ‘attend’?
- Whose responsibility is engagement anyway?
Come ready to ask questions and share tips. We’re all still learning at the moment and practice-sharing will be a large part of this session.
