'My Greenspace Calendar' - November is the time for travel
(30 October 2020)
In the ‘My Greenspace Calendar’ November is focused on all things travel. We will be sharing tips to get you active on your journeys around the University and to and from home. Why not use the new accessible Super Route for your Commute? Take a journey between Mt Oswald and the Bill Bryson Library and look out for our biodiversity along the way. Look out too for our updates on all things travel, including our new Integrated Sustainable Travel Plan 2020-2025.
Be prepared for the darker nights, be seen, be safe!
Whether you are walking home, cycling to the Sports Centre or getting the bus, make sure you are visible to all road users. Cyclists, dust off your bike and get a free safety check with Recyke Y'Bike and take advantage of a 10% discount on lights and locks for staff and students during November.
Even though most of us are staying home for work or studies, it’s still important to get outside, get some fresh air, clear your head and get moving where you can! Living Streets have #Try20, so if you need some ideas why not spin the wheel...
