We’re recruiting for two new Heads of Colleges - can you help?
(30 October 2020)
The Heads of Colleges will be inspirational and caring leaders who will have a strong personal commitment to Durham’s collegiate values and student welfare. The successful candidates will each be either a world leading academic at Associate or full Professorial level, or alternatively, a leader in an area aligned to our wider student experience, such as sport, drama, music, volunteering, fundraising and the wider charitable sector.
Due to Professor Elizabeth Archibald and Professor David Harper retiring next year, we are recruiting for two new Heads of Colleges.
Our Colleges are central to the wider student experience - what makes Durham unique. It is the close integration of academic learning with extra-curricular activities such as sport, theatre, music, volunteering and support for wellbeing.
Crucial to the success of each of our 17 Colleges is the person appointed to lead, champion, and fundraise for a community of extremely passionate, engaged and motivated students, staff and alumni, all of whom feel great loyalty to their College and to our University.
Do you know anyone who might be the ideal candidate to work at our World Top 100 and UK Top 5 University and lead either St Cuthbert’s Society or Van Mildert into the next phase of development from summer 2021? Could it be you? To find out more visit: https://fal.cn/3bd7o or share with your contacts from LinkedIn.
