The Remote Researcher
(22 October 2020)
Are you an active researcher? Have you had to adapt, halt, or change your research approach during the pandemic and/or going forward? Join us for an interactive session on Tuesday 17 November, 11am-12 pm, via Zoom, about the challenges and opportunities facing research in the current climate of distancing and remoteness. This event is open to all colleagues and students interested in or working in research.
Sponsored by the Research Staff Association, this interactive session will explore issues that have emerged for researchers (at all levels!) during the pandemic and how we've grappled with the challenges, opportunities, and issues. We're hoping to share what's working well but also to highlight those issues that require advocacy or additional support so we can take them forward to university research oversight bodies to help secure additional resource, training, or information as we move into 2021. With no sign of the pandemic going away any time soon, now is the time to work together to see how we can continue to thrive and develop as a research community going forward.
Sign up by 16 November here.
