Come and join the roboust MAMS network, which is designed to provide mums and mums-to-be with support and advice.
Are you a new mum, struggling to balance your work and family life? Are your children school-age and you would like to network with other mums with children of similar age? Or are you expecting your first arrival and are apprehensive of how this will impact your career prospects? Come and join the robust MAMS network, which is designed to provide mums and mums-to-be with support and advice. We are a friendly and supportive group, providing advice on issues as varied as returning to work after maternity leave, breastfeeding, or work-life balance. We also actively contribute to redrafting of policies on parenting and women's issues at university level. We host informal biweekly Teams meetings, as well as a range of formal talks by invited speakers. Membership of the network is wide and varied, currently including members who are academic staff from all four faculties, as well as professional support departments. See our website for more details and information on how to join the network: https://www.dur.ac.uk/lets.network/mams/
