Institute of Advanced Study: Fellows and Projects 2020/21
(2 October 2020)
The Institute of Advanced Study is delighted to welcome its first cohort of 2020/21 Fellows. This year the Institute’s usual programme for visiting Fellows has shifted into virtual form in response to the global pandemic. But Fellows’ lectures and seminars will continue in this form across both Michaelmas and Epiphany terms, and collaborators will develop virtual programmes of work between October and March.
The IAS will support three major interdisciplinary projects during this academic year. This term’s project Threshold Worlds: an interdisciplinary project on dreams, narrative and liminal cognition seeks to address interdisciplinary methodologies on dreams and dreaming from narrative theory to hallucination research and cognition. Further information about this project, and our other two can be found at www.durham.ac.uk/ias/2021projects/.
Details of the Fellows associated with these projects as well as those collaborating with other Durham academics can be found at www.durham.ac.uk/ias.
