5 Ways to Wellbeing - Be Active

Be active is one of our 5 Ways to Wellbeing. Evidence shows that being physically active can improve your mental wellbeing by raising your self-esteem and causing chemical changes in your brain which can help to positively change your mood, physical health and fitness.
The Fitness Centre at our Sports and Wellbeing Park has now reopened, with procedures in place that comply with government guidelines and help ensure our members are safe when exercising. Here is a short video showing the changes that have been implemented.
- The Durham City Run has also been rescheduled to take place on Thursday 8th October, which boasts two races and one unforgettable finish! The Durham City Run Festival also has a Run Like a Legend event on Friday 9th October and a Families on Track event on Saturday 10thOctober. Follow the links for more information.
