Covid-19, Contagion, Resilience
(3 July 2020)
Over the course of the academic year 2020/21, the Institute of Advanced Study will be running a project on 'Covid-19, Contagion, and Resilience', designed to bring colleagues from all areas of the University together to identify synergies and study the bigger interdisciplinary questions raised by Coronavirus.
As a first step, we'll be running a scoping meeting via Zoom on Tuesday 7 July, 9.30am - 12.30pm. The aim will be to identify several core areas of common ground for next year, and to discuss contagion-related fellowship nominations for 2021/22. Colleagues wishing to influence the structure and content of the discussion are invited to submit proposals of max. 1 page for what you would like to see us cover, and will be asked to present these ideas informally (for around, say, no more than ten minutes) on the day. Proposals and registration requests should be sent to email@example.com by the end of June. Confirmed attendees will be sent a link and password for the Zoom meeting in due course. Further details can be found on the IAS website.
