Being mindful of the strain working differently could be having on us all, your health and wellbeing remains our top priority during this time. As well as our Wellbeing and Working differently web pages, HR-OD will be posting wellbeing links and information once a week on a Wednesday on the University wide 'Help Us Help You' Microsoft Team via the 'Wellbeing and Working Differently' channel.
We know that many of you are also aware of other helpful support activities and information so if there are insights or resources that you would find helpful please do let us know at email@example.com and we will do our very best to highlight them both via the Teams Channel and the web pages which are regularly updated or better still why not post your own ideas and suggestions directly.
The University Five Ways to Wellbeing resource has been developed with input from specialist areas across the institution and provides 5 things if you have 5 minutes, and then 5 things if you have more than 5 minutes in each of the core wellbeing practices. This week on 'Wellbeing Wednesday', the spotlight was on Give. The acts of GIVING to others, receiving and being aware of acts of kindness, even indirectly, give us a sense of purpose and self-worth, builds connections with other and promotes empathy and teamwork.
