UCAS Results Embargo Training 2020
(26 June 2020)
The annual UCAS Results Embargo training is now available at UCAS. The embargo allows us to receive exam results before applicants, enabling the Recruitment and Admissions Team to carry out essential processing work in advance of A Level Results day. UCAS has a zero-tolerance policy on the embargo results, and therefore this training is mandatory for all staff who may be in contact with undergraduate applicants during this period.
This includes sending out reading lists or module options, accessing applicant data and anyone who could be contacted by a prospective student during the embargo period and need to respond in any way other than directing them to the central Recruitment and Admissions Enquiries Team.
The training provides information on critical dates and best practice and guidance in preparation for our receipt of embargoed results in the summer.
The training takes just 15-20 minutes to complete and colleagues are asked to complete this by 6 July, or as soon as possible thereafter.
