Cycle to Work scheme changes

(26 June 2020)

Following recent changes to our scheme, eligible employees can now apply for up to £2,000 through Cycle to Work located on our MyDurham employee benefits platform. This increase to the maximum cap will allow you to access a wider range of bikes and equipment, including a range of e-bikes. Cycle to Work is a cost-efficient way of getting a brand new bike as it is managed through salary sacrifice, meaning you benefit from National Insurance savings and spreading the cost across 12 months. Further information on the scheme including how to apply can be found here.

Not registered with MyDurham? Please contact the Reward team to check your eligibility and request an account: In the next month, we will be launching a new low-cost bike scheme for colleagues who are not eligible for the Cycle to Work scheme, watch this space for further information.
