Wouldn’t it be great if every time you published your research, a paper or wanted to connect, you already had an established network of influencers ready to share it with? Join us for a supported virtual ‘Tweetup. A Tweetup is usually when a group of Twitter users meet up in person, for an event that's orchestrated via Twitter. The session is open to the full range of Twitter users new, experienced, one (re)tweet-ers, empty account holders and indeed those without. Hosted and supported via Zoom by Graham Soult and Paul Stafford. So what's the benefit? Is meeting the people behind all those witty tweets and tinyurls really beneficial? Actually, tweetups can be a great way to get to know people in your research area who share similar interests and the session is based on the Vitae Researcher Development Framework for professional development of researchers, as they strive for research excellence, innovation and impact.
