Infrastructure Improvements Project - Islamic Prayer Room to Grey College Works
(11 June 2020)
As part of our £8m Infrastructure Improvements project to enhance movement around the University, work to install a new footpath between the Islamic Prayer Room and Grey College will start on Monday 15 June. This phase of the work is expected to last two weeks.
This part of the project will involve construction of a new footpath between the Islamic Prayer Room and Grey College main entrance, new pedestrian and cyclist crossing points from the Islamic Prayer Room to the new footpaths and a new pedestrian crossing point from the new footpath to the Grey College main entrance. Please note that no construction works will take place between 12pm and 2pm on a Friday due to the close proximity of the Islamic Prayer Room and traffic management will be in place during these works. The one-way entrance road into Grey College will be narrowed in order to construct the new footpath, however access will remain at all times.
