Refresh of the University's Wider Student Experience Strategy
(15 May 2020)
From next week, the University will be seeking views from student and staff communities on its proposals for a refreshed Wider Student Experience Strategy, consolidating the thinking that has taken place over the past few years. Stay tuned for a further announcement next week.
Durham University is very proud of its extraordinary Wider Student Experience, encompassing both outstanding student support and extra-curricular enrichment opportunities ranging from intellectual enquiry and the arts to sport, volunteering and enterprise.
Since 2016, a world-leading Wider Student Experience has been at the heart of our University Strategy alongside Education and Research.
The draft of the refreshed Wider Student Experience Strategy identifies the principal outcomes we hope to achieve for our students and graduates through the Wider Student Experience, characterises what it is we do superbly at Durham already, and outlines how we can do even better in the coming years.
On Tuesday 19 May, University Council will be considering the Green Paper draft of this proposal. Following Council’s consideration of the document, it will be made available for the entire University community to comment and feed into the White Paper (final draft) stage. Please look out for an announcement.
