Microsoft 365 is coming next week

(1 May 2020)

From Monday 4 May, we’ll be switching on all of the Microsoft 365 products and starting the first wave of our adoption programme. Our short animation gives you an insight into Microsoft 365, our adoption programme and how you can get involved.

What is Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 is a suite of cloud-based products that will greatly enhance our ability to share, collaborate and work from wherever we need to. Unlike with Teams, we will not just be switching it on and hoping for the best, but rather undertaking a 17-month adoption schedule with our specialist partner, Changing Social.

They will be supporting each team to identify your pain points, find solutions to help you in Microsoft 365 and supporting you to adopt and sustain this behaviour change.

What happens next?

For the teams in wave one, we’ve already spoken to your leaders and we’re excited about working with you. You’ll be hearing from us more in the coming weeks.

For everyone else, you will be planned into waves later in the project. While your one-on-one adoption programme might not be happening for some time, you can still access all of the online materials available in our self-service Learning Hubjoin the Durham Digital Champions programme and take part in any public webinars we are running. You can get a head start and make sure your team is ready when we get to you.

Keen to learn more, and become a Durham Digital Champion?

This past week we’ve been running lunch and learn sessions to help you learn more about the adoption programme and becoming a Durham Digital Champion. The recordings of the 30 minute sessions for leaders and managers, and for all employees are now available if you were unable to join and would like to watch them back.
