You've met Teams, now meet the rest of the family
(24 April 2020)
Over the past few weeks, you've no doubt been getting to grips with Microsoft Teams as you work differently. Now we would like to introduce you to the rest of the Microsoft 365 family. From Monday 4 May, we’ll be switching on all of the Microsoft 365 products and starting the first wave of our adoption programme.
What is Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 is a suite of cloud-based products that will greatly enhance our ability to share, collaborate and work from wherever we need to. Unlike with Teams, we will not just be switching it on and hoping for the best, but rather undertaking a 17-month adoption schedule with our specialist partner, Changing Social.
They will be supporting each team to identify your pain points, find solutions to help you in Microsoft 365 and supporting you to adopt and sustain this behaviour change.
Our short video explains all of this in a little more detail and gives you an insight into how we will be working to help you.
What happens next?
On Monday 4 May we’ll begin wave one of our adoption programme. For the teams in wave one, we’ve already spoken to your leaders and we’re excited about working with you. Hold tight for more information to come from your leaders shortly on how we will be working with you.
For everyone else, you will be planned into waves later in the project. While your one-on-one adoption programme might not be happening for some time, you can still access all of the online materials available in our self service Learning Hub, joing the Durham Digital Champions programme and take part in any public webinars we are running. You can get a head start and make sure our team is ready when we get to you.
