Inclusive Football Festival

Durham County Football Association and Durham Pride are delighted to announce an inclusive football festival to celebrate the LGBT+ community in Durham ahead of the 2020 Durham Pride Parade. The tournament will be hosted on Saturday 23 May 2020 from 10am - 2pm on the 3G pitches at the Sports & Wellbeing Park, Maiden Castle. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the on-site café.

Teams are asked for a £20 donation to Durham Pride to take part in the festival. The link to giving can be found here

The maximum number of teams to take part in the tournament is 20 teams which will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Details for tournament:

  • Teams will be 5 a side with a maximum squad size of 10.
  • Teams can be mixed gender.
  • Teams will take part in a group stage followed by a knock-out competition to decide the winner.

Contact details provided will only be used by Durham FA and Durham Pride for running of the football festival and will not be shared with any external organisations.
