Imposter Syndrome workshop

(10 January 2020)

Do you ever feel like a fraud? That you aren’t good enough? That you’re a complete imposter? Imposter Syndrome affects a huge number of us on a regular basis, and research has shown it has a much larger impact on women in the workplace. Women@DU will be hosting the first of a series of Imposter Syndrome events on Thursday 23 January 12 noon - 2pm in the Ustinov Room, Van Mildert College, so that we can come together as a community and explore how to confront our own self-doubt. To register for this event, please sign up here.

The workshop in January will include an expert speaker on Imposter Syndrome, as well as three senior female colleagues (from both academic and professional services backgrounds) who will be talking about their own struggles and coping mechanisms. Everybody is welcome regardless of grade or position, as this is something we’ve all got to battle. Please note that a sandwich lunch will be provided at this event.
