Stand up and be counted

(29 November 2019)

Come and join the newly formed WOMEN@DU at our first networking session to share experiences with and lend support to women working at Durham University. The ‘Stand Up and Be Counted’ networking event will take place on Tuesday 10 December in the Birley Room, Hatfield College.

This is a chance for you to bring your lunch along with you and talk to other women who work in the University to see if there are connections you didn’t even know about.

The format will involve a chance to tell a small group of women what you do and perhaps ask for any help or support you feel you could do with and in return hear the same from the others in your group.

After that there will be a chance to network with other women in the room more informally, or just have a chinwag with friends you already know.

To accommodate as many people’s lunch times as we can, there will be two sessions – one at 12noon and one at 1pm - we’d love you to come along and start the ball rolling!

Please also email women@du@durham.ac.uk to be added to our mailing list.
