Participating in research
(29 November 2019)
Are you a non-mother of reproductive age? Do you have a baby under 3 months? Are you expecting? Are you over 18 and a non-smoker living in/around County Durham? Would you like to contribute to research on infant-feeding and sleep? You can take part in the parent-infant sleep-lab's latest study "New-Mum Sleep". Not only will you be helping to broaden understanding of how lactation affects sleep, but you'll also get £100 worth of high-street vouchers.
If you have a baby up to 7 months of age you can also take part in our new research into early evening care and infant sleep.
Research into Early Evening Care and Infant Sleep:
We are looking for mums in the North East of England with babies under 7 months of age to take part in this project. We are studying early evening care and infant sleep. We will need you to complete a sleep diary for 3 nights, and for the same three nights put an actigraphic watch on your baby’s ankle (which can be worn over the top of a babygro or sleepsuit).
If you're interested in taking part, please follow this link: https://durham.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/participant-expression-o…
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch: email@example.com
We're looking for both non-mothers of reproductive age and mums with babies under 3 months to take part in our latest study into the effects of infant sleep and feeding on maternal sleep and daytime functioning. You (and your baby where applicable) will need to wear an Actiwatch (like a Fitbit) for 5 nights a month for 6 months and keep a sleep diary for those nights. You'll also need to do a night in the sleep centre when your baby is 2, 4, and 6 months. In return for helping us out you'll be given £100 worth of Highstreet vouchers!
If you're interested in taking part, please fill out this very short form to register your interest: https://durham.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/enrolment-expression-of-interest
