University Council met on Tuesday 29 October and its key business included: discussion of the updated five year Financial Forecasts, together with revised financial KPIs against which Council will measure the University’s financial health; approval of the suite of documents which comprises the University’s Annual Accountability Return to the Regulator (Office for Students). Discussion of the draft full business case for the Estate 2A/Elvet Waterside project ahead of request for approval at Council’s meeting in December; discussion of the University’s National Student Survey 2019 performance; discussion on the development of the Leazes Road site; and approval of the Occupational Health and Safety policy statement and arrangements, Modern Slavery statement and Business Continuity Management policy.
