Survey of use of computers and software for research
(14 November 2019)
Do you use computers or software as part of your research? Advanced Research Computing is developing new services for researchers needing computational support. If you use a computer in any form as part of your research, we would like to hear from you! We would like to hear from all Departments in the University and all levels of computational experience. Please complete our survey to help us build a better service. Respondents completing the survey will be entered for a prize draw for the chance to win £50 in Amazon tokens. Advanced Research Computing Survey 2019
The purpose of this survey is find out what computational activity is being done across the University in support of research. We are expecting a broad range of responses and from these we will be able to identify common themes, problems and areas needing support. We will use this information to help shape the service that ARC will provide to University researchers.
We estimate that the Survey will take about 5-10 minutes to complete. It does not matter if you are a "basic" computer user or a "superuser", if a computer is important to your research we want to hear from you.
