ESRC IAA Mentoring Impact Scheme - £1,000 funding support for impact engagement projects
(8 November 2019)
The Durham ESRC Impact Acceleration Account Mentoring Impact Scheme supports Durham researchers in the social sciences to maximise the impact and influence of their research on non-academic beneficiaries. The scheme is open to researchers at all career stages who wish to develop their impact and engagement work. To apply, please submit a maximum one-page description of your research and details of your planned impact engagement project to email@example.com by Friday 29 November. For further information, please visit the website.
Ten researchers will be selected to participate in the Scheme, with the aim of developing their external engagement and influencing skills through regular support from an experienced academic mentor. Each participant will be allocated up to £1,000 to support an impact engagement project, and will be guided by a mentor drawn from a range of academic disciplines and experiences in impact and external engagement.
Applicants must be Durham University employed researchers and their proposed impact activities must align with the ESRC’s disciplinary remit, but is not limited to ESRC-funded researchers. The IAA only funds impact activities which result from research already carried out, and does not fund primary research activities or staff-time.
