Social Sciences & Health Faculty Research networking and briefing event
(18 November 2019)
Are you an early career researcher, new to the University or looking to expand your research network across the Social Sciences & Health Faculty (SS&H), and find out more about research opportunities and support? If so, then do join us at the SS&H Faculty research networking and briefing event, which will be held on 20 January 2020, noon to 1.30pm, in the Bar Lounge at the Business School. If you would like to attend, please email Holly.firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, department and any special dietary requirements.
Starting at midday with buffet lunch, there will be an opportunity to meet and chat informally with colleagues from across the faculty.
Between 12.40pm - 1.30pm, Emma Bowen (Research Development Manager) will give an overview of the grant development support that RIS offers with pointers to useful resources and schemes. Christine Merrell (Deputy Executive Dean (Research) SS&H) will share information about the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account and other sources of help to develop impact from your research. We will leave plenty of time for Q&As.
Please note that places will be limited so if you find that you need to cancel your booking, do let Holly know so that she can offer the place to someone else.
