Coding Club

(4 October 2019)

We would like to invite you to join our Coding Club. The club is a place for people that want to learn how to code (absolute beginners) and, for people that want to work on their own projects, learn a new language, or just have fun programming in a friendly environment. We meet on Wednesdays 1pm-2pm in TLC031, Teaching and Learning Centre. Please email coding.club@durham.ac.uk to join as a member or as a volunteer/mentor.

Do I need to bring anything? Just yourself. The lab is fitted with CIS computers. You can use your own laptop if you prefer.

Do I have to come to all sessions? No. Come whenever you are free, work at your own pace. Once you join the club, you will be given access to the Coding Club DUO page and you will be able to sign up to sessions from there. The booking is purely to manage room capacity.

Who can join? Anyone, but preference will be given to professional service staff and postgraduate students.

Have something to include?

Please liaise with the designated contact for your department or college. For further guidance, email dialogue@durham.ac.uk
