(26 July 2019)

The Organisation Development team is partnering with Durham County Council's Adult Learning and Skills Service to deliver the Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisor Apprenticeship and Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship for University staff who have management responsibilities. Programmes start mid-September and places are still available on both programmes.

The Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisor Apprenticeship has been designed for individuals in a first line management role with operational / project responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcome.

The Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship has been designed for individuals who manage teams or projects, and have responsibility for planning, delivering and achieving departmental goals and objectives.

Both programmes will be delivered externally by Durham County Council's Adult Learning and Skills Service. The programmes will commence mid-late September and consists of 1/2 day training every three weeks (provisionally either a Tuesday or Wednesday morning at Durham Leadership Centre in Spennymoor) and two weeks self directed over an 18 month period. A minimum of 80% attendance on each programme is required.

Both of these programmes are funded by the Apprenticeship Levy. For more information and details of how to apply please visit here.
