Heating the Human Climate

(20 February 2019)

This lecture entitled 'Heating the Human Climate' will be given by Dr Sally Weintrobe on Monday, 25 February, at 6pm in CG083, Chemistry Building. It will address our feelings about the rising instability we see in two different climates: the physical and the social. It argues that the state of these climates is linked and considers what we need for a sustainable future. Everyone is welcome to attend. Booking is not required. Please email barry.a.sheils@durham.ac.uk for more information.

Dr Sally Weintrobe, psychoanalyst, is a Fellow of the British Psychoanalytical Society and a founder member of the Climate Psychology Alliance. In 2012 she edited Engaging With Climate Change: Psychoanalytic and Interdisciplinary Perspectives (Palgrave).
