Centre for Cultural Ecologies lecture

This lecture entitled 'Heating the Human Climate' will be given by Dr Sally Weintrobe on Monday, 25 February, at 6pm in CG083, Chemistry Building. Please email barry.a.sheils@durham.ac.uk for more information.

Sally Weintrobe is a psychoanalyst and public intellectual who writes and talks on how to understand what underlies our widespread disavowal of climate change. In 2012 she edited Engaging with Climate Change: Psychoanalytic and Interdisciplinary Perspectivesand her current work is on ‘the culture of uncare’. She is a Fellow of the British Psychoanalytical Society (BPAS), a Chartered Clinical Psychologist (BPS) and a founding member of the Climate Psychology Alliance (CPA).
