Environmental Fact of the Week

(8 June 2018)

Did You Know … you could be fined up to £150 for dropping litter in a public place? In any one academic year, the University collects almost 1,000 bags of litter. Litter Awareness Week runs from Monday, 11 June to Sunday, 17 June. For recycling guidance please visit the Greenspace Waste webpages.

During Litter Awareness Week we are raising awareness of the potential fines associated with littering so when out and about, please put your rubbish in the bin. For more details on keeping Britain Tidy, why not visit their website.
