(1 June 2018)
Do you have a great idea for a medical humanities research project? This workshop could help you turn it into a funding application. Whether you want to apply for a PhD scholarship, an early career Fellowship or a multi-partner Collaborative Award, this focused and practical workshop will help you find out what the Wellcome Trust are looking for, and get support from the Centre for Medical Humanities team and Research & Innovation Services on writing your application, planning/costing your proposal, pathways to impact or interdisciplinary working. The workshop will take place on Thursday, 14 June, 1pm - 3pm in CA201, Caedmon Building. Places are limited. To reserve your place email firstname.lastname@example.org.
This internal workshop will include short presentations from Dr Dan O'Connor, Head of Humanities & Social Sciences at the Wellcome Trust and Eleanor Glenton from Research & Innovation Services followed by focused action planning and 1-to-1 or small group discussions with the speakers and members of the CMH team. It is suitable for researchers of any career stage who have a clear idea and intend to submit a Medical Humanities funding application to the Wellcome Trust in the near future.
Come with an idea - leave with a plan!
