Make in Durham

(1 June 2018)

Participants and volunteers needed for an exciting day of making and creative celebration. Can you help Durham make a thousand paper cranes in a day? Or create a community sand masterpiece that represents the city through time? Come along on Thursday, 14 June between 11am – 4pm to watch and learn from some of the North East's talented artists, craftspeople, and makers at work. Have a go, develop a new creative skill and make some new and exciting art and craft together! This event is free and open to everyone. Drop-in and join in with as many of the artists and activities as you like. If you’re interested, please contact rebecca.appleby@durham.ac.uk stating the times you would be available. Please note that this can be used as one of your staff volunteer days too.

This event is brought to you by the Creative Fuse North East team at Durham University and is supported by the European Regional Development Fund. Make in Durham is also part of Art Durham - a new visual arts festival running from Tuesday, 5 June - Sunday, 17 June 2018.
