Durham University Community Fund - Update

(25 May 2018)

Its not too late to get involved. All funds raised go to our amazing community partners. Over that past seven months individuals who pay into the fund have voted for charities in the following themes:

  • Quarter 1 - Children and Young People
  • Quarter 2 - Animal Welfare
  • Quarter 3 - Health and Ageing. 

Voting for the Quarter 4 theme Social will open on Monday, 4 June. If you would like to have your say on who receives funding at the end of the year, have a look at the website on how to get involved or send an email to community.fund@durham.ac.uk.

The following charities have been selected:

Children and Young People:

  • 234 (City of Durham) RAFAC
  • Carers Trust Tyne & Wear
  • Rainbow Trust

Animal Welfare:

  • Ark on the Edge
  • Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter
  • Stray Aid

Health and Ageing:

  • Bloodwise
  • Blood Bike
  • The Loop
