Environmental Fact of the Week

(4 May 2018)

Did You Know... May is National Walking Month and to encourage everyone to walk more, the University is promoting the Living Streets #Try20 tips

During May, Living Streets are running their #Try20 campaign to encourage walking for 20 minutes each day. They have created great tips and suggestions such as 'consider a walking meeting instead of being indoors' and 'why not spend some time figuring out the 'long cut'? Take the long way round for an extra 20 minutes'. Visit the Living Streets website for more information.

Why not also take a walk around the Botanic Garden taking in the wildflower meadow and the native woodland? There is also a helpful Guided Walk and map of the Botanic Garden to guide you.
