Engaging with UK Parliament Select Committees

Are you an early career researcher? Are you interested in international affairs (including development) and/or defence? Are you keen to get involved with influencing parliament's work but not sure how? Then come to this interactive event on Friday, 25 May at which the UK Parliament Outreach team and Select Committee advisers will give an inside view of parliament, select committees and how to get your research heard. The event will commence at 1pm in the Collier Room, College of St Hild and St Bede and is free to attend.Please book your place using the Eventbrite page as places are limited. They will also discuss ideas to develop further relationships between Parliament and North East based researchers, so there is an opportunity to help collectively shape future engagement activities.
